Hi there! I’m Ash, a Sydney based photographer with over nine years of experience capturing love stories, portraits, and weddings. Photography for me is more than a career, it’s a way to document your most meaningful moments, the joy you share with friends and family, and the unique story of your life together.
I’ve lived in Australia for over 16 years, calling Sydney home after time in Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, and Armidale. I’ve also lived in England and India, and travelled extensively across Europe, where I fell in love with architecture, fashion, and landscapes that continue to inspire my work. My accent is a mix of all these experiences, which is probably why people can never guess my hometown!
I’m a practicing Christian and a passionate lover of music, from metal and alternative to jazz and ambient genres. I also draw inspiration from architecture (especially gothic), landscapes, and fantasy worlds. These influences shape the way I see the world and translate into my photography, helping me create images that are authentic, emotive, and timeless.
I’m a huge fan of storytelling, whether it’s in film, literature, or music, and I love the cinematic and ethereal qualities that fantasy worlds and architecture can bring to my images. Fashion and style are also close to my heart, particularly the timeless, neutral tones of Parisian or European-inspired fashion. I enjoy weaving these elements into my photography to create portraits and weddings that feel elegant, natural, and editorial.
Beyond photography, I value fitness, punctuality, and taking responsibility for every shoot. I maintain my energy and focus so I can fully dedicate myself to long weddings or adventurous elopements. I’ve never had to cancel a shoot for health reasons, and I take pride in showing up on time and helping clients feel relaxed from the first moment.
Photography started as a hobby during my travels and has grown into a career I’m passionate about. Over the past nine years, I’ve captured everything from landscapes and street photography to portraits, engagement sessions, and weddings across Sydney and beyond.

My approach blends candid, documentary storytelling with editorial styling. I guide couples with gentle prompts when needed, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera, while also stepping back to capture authentic moments as they unfold.
I love environmental portraits that tell a story, using architecture, landscapes, and thoughtful details to create images with depth and context. Every photograph is carefully curated and edited by me, producing a signature style that ranges from dreamy, cinematic tones to earthy, vibrant, or moody black-and-white images.
