Dan and Alanna’s engagement photoshoot at La Perouse Sydney was a relaxed and meaningful session that captured the beginning of their journey as an engaged couple. This is completely normal, and part of my approach as a Sydney couples photographer is to keep things simple, calm, and natural so couples can ease into the experience without pressure.
Rather than focusing on complex posing, we spent the session walking, talking, and allowing moments to unfold naturally. Gentle direction was used only when needed, with an emphasis on creating space for genuine interaction. As the session progressed, their comfort grew and the initial nerves slowly disappeared, replaced by laughter, relaxed movement, and real connection.
